Pressure Treated Decking
Pressure treated decking is ideal for deck construction as it has a long life span and is much less expensive than alternatives options. Treated lumber decks must be maintained and protected to keep from splitting, cracking and warping.

Cedar Decks
Cedar decks are known for their natural beauty and durability. Cedar is resistant to decay, will handle weather well, and resists insect infestations. Cedar is a little more expensive than pressure treated decking options. Cedar does require staining, every couple of years, to keep its color and charm.

Composite & Synthetic Decking
Synthetic decking is made from recycled plastic and wood chips or sawdust. Composite decks have more color consistency and are smoother than traditional decking materials. Synthetic and composite decking and railing materials offer many benefits to our Cincinnati customers. While costs associated with synthetic and composite decks will be higher, the lower maintenance, ease of cleaning, resistance to scratches and consistent beauty will offset the initial cost over its lifespan. The newest synthetic and composite decking and railing materials come in many colors, patterns and styles including several that that look like natural wood products.
